Your love story didn’t come with a script. Why would your wedding day need one?

It doesn’t. And if you’re here,
I bet you agree.

Let’s focus on your unique moments. The hand-written vows that make you laugh as much as they make you cry. The squeeze you give your four-legged ring bearer before heading down the aisle. The cake-filled smooch with your new wife in front of the dessert buffet of your dreams.

Real, authentic moments

Okay, but how do we get candid photos without the awkwardness?

First off, embrace the awkward

It might be awkward for the first few minutes! And that’s okay. But when you two have a second to settle, to laugh together (and, let’s be honest, at each other too), you’ll suddenly realize this photo thing isn’t so bad.

I’ve got a plan for that

Getting through the awkward is a big part of why all my weddings include engagement photos. Your engagement session is a great chance to get comfortable with me and the camera, and it’s a good opportunity for me to understand how you two like to be photographed.

On the big day

When your wedding day arrives, I work hard to blend in with the group so I’m there … but I’m not. We’ve already worked together, remember? Now I’m just one of the crowd celebrating with you, and the result is images that come alive with connection and emotion. Check out my wedding gallery to see how other couples have celebrated their day.

Gather your favorite people, choose the details that matter most, and get ready for the day that brings it all together in one place.

Don’t just take my word for it.

Alejo & Leonie - Bogota, Colombia 2023

“If you want a wedding photographer who doesn't just show up and take photos, but also thinks with you on your day and uses her calm and friendly presence to ground you, you can't go wrong with Molly. She checked in with us repeatedly before the day to make sure what we wanted, suggested the best spots to have the photos taken and got us a lot of fun photos of the process leading up to the wedding as well (we had her there for the weekend).”

“She had the wonderful skills any good wedding photographer should possess: we didn't notice her presence at all during the ceremony but somehow she got all the perfect snaps of all the crucial moments, from all angles. The reception and party photos are where she really shines, taking tons of candid pictures showing the real emotions. We had such a blast looking through the album afterwards and reliving the whole party!”

How this all works

  • We’ll set a time to chat (over coffee or cocktails, if you’re in town) and get to know each other. I pour my expertise into working with you and your vendor team to plan wedding photography that speaks to your needs. You can also count on me to be a resource, a reliable presence, and a guide through the entire process.

  • I’ll use easy prompts to guide you through the day, but I’m not about stiff poses. My focus is on documentary-style photography, and I’m looking for real moments. Your portraits are a small slice of time to simply be together outside the craziness (and fun) of your wedding celebration.

  • I take pride in my craft and carefully, personally edit your images with an eye toward rich, true-to-life color. I’ll share a curated collection of the very best images from your day that tell your story as it naturally unfolded.

Jessie & Terra - Portland, Oregon

“Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning and capture the love and magic of the day beautifully! It was important to us that our big day felt authentic to who we are, and Molly helped bring our vision to life and was a joy to have there with us. We aren't people who are usually used to being in front of a camera, but she made the process so fun and relaxed and brought out the most genuine moments. We are so glad to have had the chance to work with her!”

Life is rich with color
Your photography should be too

Every time you hold your images in your hands, I want you to see that moment as it truly was. That’s the beauty of documentary photography.
